Have to Satisfy Everyone Meal

We had a somewhat pieced together meal the other night, but parts of it were very good. 2 pizza bianca’s–one with mushrooms, potatoes, bacon and good cheese, then one without mushrooms (because I live with children).  I also had to buy a few emergency samosa’s.  But the best part, was the box of chocolates from Vosges that my son got for his birthday. These were great. All the food, vegies (not shown), somosa’s, wine and chocolates were consumed, as usual, rapidly.

Good meals but give me an advice what do u think would be a good meal for breakfast as someone who wants to lose weight and the time?

  2. Breakfast….hummmm…are you a hot or cold person? Coffee or Tea, then fruit cut up with a slug of yogart or oatmeal. If I feel in need of a sweet I pour a dollup of maple syrup in the bowl. To lose weight, skip the syrup. I also think a good breakfast is toasted whole wheat bread with fresh ricotta or cottage cheese spread on it. Be generous, it has to take you to noon. Sometimes if the panini press is out I put an old bagette in it and then grill some cheese on it, yes for breakfast.
I’m not sure I would come to ME for weight lose, I’m not heavy, but have a truely serious, genetic sweet tooth.
    Portion Control.
    Fresh Fruit for all snacking,
No Stuffing Yourself, Leave a bit on the plate…always.

  3. this dinner looks great- i like the contrast of the rustic pizzas with the refined chocolates-

my favorite breakfast these days is cereal (granola or muesli) with a pear- eating fruit in season is delicious-

My stage name – I’m really a Jewish doctor from Brooklyn. In response to what to eat for breakfast; it’s really simple, and not just breakfast. what I am about to say applies to all meals. BUY FRESH AND COOK YOUR OWN MEALS. If you have seen it on a commercial, don’t touch it. Breakfast out is a killer. Donuts and muffins can add up to 500 calorie meals or more. Eat fresh fruit, dried fruit, and nuts for breakfast. Eat some eggs and don’t worry about the cholesterol; eggs do not significantly raise blood cholesterol levels. Avoid drinking anything that has calories – only drink water, seltzer or tea (a few honey calories are fine). All you need to do is eat 100 calories a day less than what your body needs and you will lose ~one pound every 4-5 weeks. That is a good pace and you will not feel as if you are starving. 100 CALORIES A DAY LESS. It’s easy to do with fresh foods and impossible with fake, manufactured food. I could go on and on. If interested in getting more food advice I will post my email

  5. since we often eat cheap pizza for breakfast, this meal sounds great. The fact that it’s consumed at dinner makes it even more appealing, though I could eat the chocolates anytime.

  6. Chocolates for breakfast is a thought….We do have english muffin or bagle pizza’s for breakfast at times.

  7. in fall/winter the best breakfast is oatmeal- and i have discovered vanilla tea- yum
