Goal Achieved
Some women dream of diamonds, furs and expensive shoes. Me, I’m
a simple girl, all i wanted out of life was an oversized
refrigerator with an automatic icemaker. It took two marriages,
two kids and giving up a twenty year long career to make that
dream come true!! Now I have it and revel in it. Sometimes I
just leave the door open letting the warm air in because I like
to marvel at how much stuff I can put in there, and when it’s
empty, I can just dream of what I can stuff in there. I like to
have at least a dozen of those wonderful nonfat Greek yogurts
around, anything less and I worry. Also, right now, I love
looking at the gorgeous bottle of rose wine I just opened last
night. It’s glimmer really adds to the wonder of the fridge.
I particularly like the fact that at Thanksgiving time, I no
longer worry how I will possibly get all the groceries in there
before actually cooking. The oversized refrigerator has helped
reduce that stressful part of holiday preparation. The sad part
is just how empty it looks the day after, but I take heart in
knowing I can easily fill it up again.

I love the idea of having fridge related goals. We could work on a 12 step fridge program. I’m not sure what the goal would be.
