The Magic Expanding Refrigerator
i wish it was expandable, and contractable- (so it was always filled exactly right,) but really, that it never took up too much space in the kitchen, in fact would some times give back space if it was almost empty.
it would be nice to have a root cellar, and remember the little stone houses built over streams to store butter and milk? what were they called? several people had them when we were growing up- the Leftons… spring houses? is that the name?

a root cellar, how interesting. We actually have a stream that runs thru our sub basement here in NYC…could perhaps figure something out. But I don’t want to think about the animals down there. Anyway I like the stone and stream image-very cool and shady.
